The Safe Agile Workflow

The safe agile workflow method requires teams to work in small groups with defined goals and areas of responsibility. These teams deliver iterations after each Sprint and are led by a Scrum Master. The benefits of SAFe really come into play at this higher level, where teams must stitch together the outputs of their sprints to create a program.

The process also uses a layering system, with roles falling under different administrative levels. This can limit the flexibility of decision making. This framework was originally designed for larger businesses, and this layering structure makes it harder to implement for smaller companies. The idea is to give developers more freedom and independence to solve problems. However, if you're going to use the system, make sure that it's scalable.

Lastly, the concept of a value stream is a key part of SAFe. It helps organizations define the steps that must be followed to implement a Solution. The process is then described as a flow. The goal is to minimize the number of steps in the process, while still meeting the overall goal.

SAFe is a framework that was created to make agile principles scaleable in large organizations. The methodology is rooted in lean and agile principles, and is more effective than traditional methods of software development. It also allows organizations to coordinate across teams, and helps teams work together more effectively.
